Hybrid system disk trays allows using SAS and SSD hard disk technology. Supporting large disks gives large scalability with best cost benefit.
Designed and optimized for file sharing and backup, improves data collaboration between users and deliver large scale storage for backups.
System could also be used for virtualization with most popular virtualization software vendors like Vmware, Citrix Xen and Microsoft Hyper-V.
Magnetar R2-2425
Designed and optimized for virtualization with major players like VMware, Citrix Xen or Microsoft Hyper-V, with low latency, it offers high IOPS performance and large-scale storage to accommodate dozens of virtual machines.
The system can also be used to backup repositories and share data between users in conjunction with virtualization monetizing available storage.
Processing
Built with 20 storage cores, improves file and block level of data sharing and could be expandable up to 40 storage cores.
RAID Levels
Equipped with raid hardware controller, with minimum 2 Gigabytes of cache and an power backup unit to prevent data loss in case of power failure.
Supporting raid levels 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, 60 to adapt any needs and delivering huge capacity and also data protection.
Scalability
Base system equipped with 24 hot-swap disk bays on Magnetar R2-2425 and 12 on Magnetar R2-1235, allows to be scalable up to 240 hard disk bays with additional JBOD enclosures.
Connectivity
With dual 10GbE ports, allows fault tolerance connection with huge speed data transfers.
Magnetar Series, could also be equipped with more network ports with speeds 10GbE, 25GbE or Fibre Channel ports of 4Gb/s or 8Gb/s.
