The Challenge
Before adopting the solution provided by Sanbrick®, the challenge would be to find a storage solution for the disaster recovery of your Microsoft Hyper-V Cluster production environment, where performance would be the key factor. The high number of virtual machines - more than 180 - already in production and their growing increase was a constant reality.

The Solution
The Magnetar R2-2425 appliance was installed with 65 TB Raw on SSD and 4 ports at 25Gb/s to provide storage for virtual machines, integrating Microsoft Hyper-V Cluster using iSCSI protocol through 25Gb/s ports, interconnected by 2 separated network switches for redundancy purpose.
Equipped with Sanbrick® AtlantisOS, the ultimate storage management software by Sanbrick®, it allows any IT administrator to configure and manage the unit using only an internet browser and a simple mouse.
